this gem of a place was a true delight. the outdoor swimming pool and spacious grounds were a hit for my family. each cottage is well-equipped, making self-catering a breeze. the staff were incredibly accommodating and a joy to interact with!

the cottages are so quaint, but the grumpy staff at breakfast really ruin the ambiance. the bathroom was a disaster with a clogged shower drain flooding all over, awe-inspiring! i woudl ve been satisfied with a complimentary gesture for all this inconvenience, yet i just couldn’t bring myself to give a glowing review.

Consider asking for a cottage with better insulation for a more comfortable stay, especially during colder months.

Just had a fantastic time at La Cotte! The cottages are stunning and cozy, perfect for families. The warm swimming pool made our stay even better. Just wish there was better signage to the main gate.

During my stay, I faced several challenges. The bathroom shower drain in our cottage was clogged, leading to flooding, which was quite frustrating. the overall condition of the cottage felt run down, especially considering the increased price compared to our previous visit. Some fixtures, like the light bulb in the bathroom, seemed neglected for a property in this price range.

The beautifully equipped cottage provided a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. With a spectacular view and a cozy fireplace, we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings. The staff's hospitality added an extra touch with welcoming treats like fresh milk and wine upon arrival.

It would have been better if breakfast was included, as we were self-catering during our stay.

It was just a suitable option for a fleeting trip in Franschhoek with good price value. The breakfast at the manor house had a decent variety, although limited in protein choices. Make sure to check the directions carefully before arriving. the maps can be confusing.

We had such a relaxing stay here! The views from our cottage were breathtaking, and we loved spending nights by the fire. The kitchen was super handy for cooking, and the cozy terrace setup made outdoor meals a blast. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit better, but overall, it was a fantastic getaway!
